Pulses and gram should be kept in the freezer. Use as much quantity as you need and put the rest back in the freezer of your referigerator.

For rice, you may put some Neem leaves and save them from insects.

Roasted Semolina remains saved from insects. So roast your semolina (suji) a little and preserve it.
