How to open the Blocked Nose

Blocked nose is a common symptom of flu in winter season. If you feel that your nose is blocked from one side or the both sides, you may need to take breath from your mouth.
This creates uneasiness and disturbs the life routine altogether. Difficulty in breathing and snoring can be easily treated by unblocking the blocked nasal obstruction. If the condition is persistent, you must visit your doctor to check whether you have nasal polyps in your nose or not. If you do not have nasal polyps and the blocking of nose is only due to cold and flu in winter you can open your nose by doing simple tautka.

Take Nigella seeds (کلونجی) oil and at night apply some oil with your finger inside the nose. It will give  you much relief from nose obstruction.

Another solution is take one full spoon Nigella seeds oil and ten spoons of olive oil, put them on stove fire for five minutes, let the composition cool down then apply this oil in your nose at night. It will open the nose blocking.

Third solution is through Celery seed (اجوائن). Take one spoon of Celery seeds, slightly crush them but do not grind them, put in soft thin cloth and start smelling it. Your nose will be opened and you will get rid of mouth breathing.

Ginger tea is also good for blocked nose due to flu and cold. Put a small piece of ginger in one cup of water, boil it and pour into cup. Mix one spoon of honey and take it in sips. This is very effective tea in winter for nose problems.
