Vegetables are perishable food stuff. Many people buy vegetable in bulk quantity and store in the refrigerator for a
week or a month. This routine is because of the busy work routine and awkward timings of cooking. However, the color of vegetables get fade and discolored vegetables do not attract the eater while served after cooking. Chinese rice and mix vegetable dishes are mouth watering and appealing due to their colors. If the vegetables are already discolored it will not add value to your meal and especially guests might not be interested to even taste your recipe.

Simple home based remedial tips can save vegetable color for even many days if stored in a refrigerator. So when you fear of having the discolor vegetables, use lemon juice to solve this problem. Here is a simple solution to save color of frozen vegetables and preserving them.

Preservation of vegetable color and freshness is not much difficult if you have lemon in your stock. Simple before putting the vegetables in the refrigerator, wash them with lemon juice mixed water. One normal sized lemon’s juice mixed two glasses of water is enough to wash One KG of vegetable. 

After washing with lemon water, let them dry and store in the refrigerator and see the freshness and color for days and days.
